Like them or not, rattlesnakes are an important part of the ecosystem. Wyoming is home to two species of rattlesnakes: Crotalus viridus viridus (prairie rattler) and Crotalus concolor (midget faded rattler).  This month’s program will cover Wyoming rattlesnake ecology, mythology, and close encounters of the slithery kind.

Our speaker will be India Hayford, who works at Werner Wildlife Museum where she writes a quarterly wildlife newsletter called The Howl

Join us on Friday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Izaak Walton Clubhouse located at 4205 Fort Caspar Road to learn more about these fascinating animals.
